When we first moved to Old Hickory, this turtle came prancing past our house on the sidewalk. I had some fun picking it up and looking at it (while it tried to bite me and scratch me). Nacho kept sniffing it, and I was afraid she was going to be bitten. Still, it's cool when you can get different animals together in one shot.

It's Nacho Cat: Turtle!
When we first moved to Old Hickory, this turtle came prancing past our house on the sidewalk. I had some fun picking it up and looking at it (while it tried to bite me and scratch me). Nacho kept sniffing it, and I was afraid she was going to be bitten. Still, it's cool when you can get different animals together in one shot.

Cute picture! As always the bummer... I do need to let you know that turtles are carriers of salmonella. You could be poisoned if you don't practice good handwashing!! :)

If I were going to get it, I would have definitely had it by now! Yeah, that thing could stick its neck out pretty far. It kept trying to reach back and bite my hands.
